FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: nozzle is designed for damping noise of discharged jet of pneumatic facility. The nozzle consists of a case, the cavity of which is filled with sound absorbing material, of an inlet sleeve, and of a head installed in the case and forming a discharge aperture. Also the head is installed in the case by means of a pin and contains a net from the side of the inlet sleeve. At the outlet of the head there is installed a perforated disk; between the head and the disk there is located the sound absorber in form of rotating bodies on base of aluminium containing alloys; the boies are successively filled with titanium hydride or air of density within ranges 0.5…0.9 kg/m3 and of the following strength properties: compression strength within ranges 5…10 MPa, and bending strength within ranges 10…20 MPa. Also a chamber is made in the case; the perforated disk functions as an input to this chamber; a sound absorbing structure is arranged at the output; the structure consists of internal and external perforated disks inside of which the sound absorber is inserted. As sound absorbing material of the sound absorber there is used mineral wool on basalt base of "Rockwool" type or mineral wool of "URSA" type.
EFFECT: reduced level of noise.
