FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: driven joint connects first and second parts of driven shaft of car and has male and female elements or fixtures. A device transferring torque is installed between the said elements or fixtures. Rolling races are made on internal side of the female element and external side of the male element. Partitions directed radially inside are made between rolling races of male element of the joint. The joint disengages when specified axial load from one part of the shaft to another part of the shaft is exceeded. Also by plastic or elastic deformation the internal fixture can be released from the external fixture when specified axial load onto the driven joint is exceeded.
EFFECT: reliable telescopic folding without lengthwise bend, eliminated hazard of uncontrolled wedging of driven shafts.
