FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: in the method of assessing depurination of nucleic acid under the effect of internal and external factors, depurination assessment is carried out electrochemically by adsorbing depurination products on a working electrode modified with carbon nanomaterials. Guanine oxidation current released from the analysed sample during depurination is recorded and nucleic acid depurination is determined from the guanine oxidation peak on the voltametric curve. The value of the oxidation peak is proportional to intensity of the assessed depurination.
EFFECT: invention simplifies and cuts on analysis time, increases selectivity, increases labour efficiency during analysis, increases accuracy of results.
