FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: in method for ignition of glow discharge between liquid electrolyte and solid-state electrolyte, which consists in establishment of electrolyte contact with solid-state electrode and supply of voltage to current contact jaw of liquid electrolyte and solid-state electrode, voltage between current contact jaw of liquid electrolyte and solid-state electrode increases stepwise in two stages, from which at the first stage voltage is supplied to current contact jaw of liquid electrolyte and solid-state electrode providing for current density of 0.5±0.25 A/cm2 in discharge, and at the second stage this value is 0.9±0.1 A/cm2. In initial condition liquid electrolyte and solid-state electrode are in contact with each other. There is no voltage at terminals. After the first stage of stepwise voltage increase, steam-gas shell is generated between liquid electrolyte and solid-state electrode. To generate such shell, it is necessary that current density is within the limits of 0.5±0.25 A/cm2. When current density is 0.5±0.25 A/cm2, steam generation starts, and steam-gas shell is produced.
EFFECT: improved stability and controllability of glow discharge ignition process between liquid electrolyte and solid-state electrode.
