FIELD: fire fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to fire extinguishing method and device wherein a propellant is injected at least in one tank for fire-fighting fluid to vent a fire-extinguishing fog at least through one fire-extinguishing fog nozzle, and wherein the propellant is injected at least in one fire-extinguishing gas nipple, and injection of the fire-fighting fluid in the tank and in the fire-extinguishing gas nipple is performed through a general propellant feed system. To improve efficiency of extinguishing and to make it possible to ensure required injection of the fire-fighting fluid or gas extinguishant, the invention offers the optional injection of the propellant either in the tank for fire-fighting fluid only, or in the fire-extinguishing gas nipple through the general propellant feed system.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of extinguishing.
