FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: rail vehicle includes a fire-extinguishing system with tanks for storage fire-fighting equipment, pipelines, feeder of extinguishing agents, as well as the compressor unit. It is proposed that the compressor unit is connected to the device of the compressed air supply of the rail vehicle, in order by means of the device of the compressed air supply in the pipeline system a static pressure can be produced, and the fire could be detected when the pressure in the pipeline system drops.
EFFECT: improvement of operational safety.
