FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to mandrel for manufacturing of pipes by method of winding and method of application. Mandrel comprises sector planks arranged symmetrically relative to axis of its rotation and rigidly joined into units. Sector planks are equipped with one or several stiffening ribs directed along axis of mandrel rotation, and are connected by means of these stiffening ribs into two or more blocks that produce working and support parts of mandrel.
EFFECT: simplified design, increased reliability of mandrel, reduction of its weight, reduced material intensity and reduction of power inputs for manufacturing of pipe.
