FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of units and mandrels for manufacture of tubular articles, particularly tubes by continuous and intermittent coiling. Mandrel assembly comprises sector plates jointed together with stiffness rubs directed along rotational axis. Sector plate cross section is located along the strip mandrel peripheral surface. Note here that inner surface of every sector plate and side surface of appropriate stiffness rib facing said plate and inner surface of nearest sector plate make, at least, two cylindrical surfaces for one elastic element to rest upon. Invention cover also tube coiling tube that comprises aforesaid mandrel assemblies.
EFFECT: improved operating performances, simplified design, higher reliability and reduced power consumption.
