SUBSTANCE: intended for use in paper-and-pulp industry. Cylindrical moulding device for use in round-mesh paper-making machine comprises shoe having pressing surface of concave shape, which substantially forms coupling with moulding cylinder or mesh. Pressing surface of shoe, having concave shape, increases value of coverage of moulding cylinder or mesh with working cloth, therefore increasing friction that is created between working cloth (16) and moulding cylinder or mesh. Method is also proposed for increase of torque value transmitted from working cloth to moulding cylinder or mesh and machine for production of paper or fiber-cement produce, in which specified moulding device is used.
EFFECT: provision of increased friction, which results in transmission of increased torque and higher traction force between working cloth and moulding cylinder or mesh.
