FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine production, particularly to diesel engine fuel feed systems. High-pressure pump plunger pair comprises sleeve with two symmetric filling orifices arranged along tangential line to sleeve inner surface and communicated with low-pressure chamber. Said sleeve is made in pump. Said pair comprises also shut-off orifice and plunger with axial and radial orifices, and control grooves interacting with shut-off orifice. Plunger has circular groove communicated via radial and axial orifices with above-plunger space, while filling orifices are directed along tangential line to plunger circular groove. Note here that filling orifices are arranged above shut-off orifice. Proposed invention differs from know designs in that plunger is furnished with additional channel communicated with plunger sleeve inlet orifice and above-plunger space. Note here that additional channel is furnished with ball-like valve arranged at above-plunger space outlet.
EFFECT: reduced fuel leaks in plunger pair, stabilised cyclic feed, longer life.
