FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely, to ophthalmology, and may be used to determine indications for fixation of intraocular lenses (IOL) in the ciliary furrow at phacoemulsification cataract complicated by pseudoexfoliative syndrome (PES), with implantation of the intracapsular ring. Biomicroscopy, tonography, gonioscope, ultrasound biometry, ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) are conducted during the preoperative period and the anterior-posterior axis of the eye, indicators of fluid flow and anatomic-topographic relations structures of posterior chamber of the eye are determined. If the anterior-posterior axis is not less than 20 mm, the rate of fluid mechanics is in the normal range, and according to UBM evident ciliary furrow and the middle position of ciliary process are determined, as well as detachment or lysis of Zinn zonule servings for no more than 2/3 of its circumference, it shows the fixation of IOL in the ciliary furrow after phacoemulsification cataract. An intracapsular ring is implanted into the capsular sac to maintain the shape and size of the capsular sac and for postoperative complications prevention.
EFFECT: method allows to achieve high and stable visual functions.
