FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method is the performance of a local anesthesia, instillation of photomediator, irradiation of focused UV-radiation of cornea within 1-90 minutes. Before the exposure of UV radiation the radius of curvature of the cornea is varied by fixing the contact lens on the cornea, and in the process of radiation one or more areas of exposure are created in the form of concentric circles, lattice, checker, spirals, arcs, parallel lines or other geometric shapes. At that the device includes a body with a source of UV radiation positioned inside of it, connected with power supply and control, located on the same optical axis with a source of UV light focusing optical elements and the diaphragm. The device contains a contact lens designed for fixation of the eye cornea, equipped with a vacuum ring with a union for connection to a vacuum device. The lower radius of contact lenses curvature conforms to the required optical power of the cornea. Contact lens and the diaphragm are designed for placement on the same optical axis with a source of UV radiation, and the diaphragm is designed as a mask with alternating transparent and opaque areas.

EFFECT: application of this group of inventions can reduce side effects of exposure.
