FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for manufacturing of hollow cylinder-cone items with socket at one end. Initial hollow billet is manufactured with bottom in zone of its deformation start. Then it is exposed to cold plastic deformation in one or several operations in holder. Plastic deformation is carried out along whole length of hollow billet. Billet is supplied by means of holder. Holder contacts by its end to billet bottom.
EFFECT: invention provides for increased geometric accuracy, reduced roughness of surfaces and reduction of material expenses.
