FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermal pyrolysis and can be used for disposal of worn-out tires and rubber-containing works. Treatment is carried out in atmosphere of pyrolysis gases circulated in reactor at 200-500°C. Pyrolysis products are gaseous hydrocarbons from C1 to C4 that are separated and fed into reactor bottom part. Flue gases coming out from reactor furnace are forced through heat exchanger intended for heating circulated gases and treated material and fed into bin to heat up ground material located therein. Pressure of flue gas coming out from reactor top part is kept constant to allow intermittent threshold pressure variation at every point of treated material. Circulated gases are fed into reactor bottom part with their pressure being intermittently varied in time and amplitude-adjusted. Adjustment if performed using actuating mechanism consisting of forward-stroke electric actuator, motor with mechanical reduction gear and disk with push rod, as well as lever sustem. The latter serves to make controlled gate swinging on pipeline that feeds circulated gases into reactor bottom part.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of maintenance of circulated gases pressure fed into reactor bottom part and varied intermittently.
