FIELD: wind power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for use in windmills whose rotating blades are parallel to axis of rotation. Proposed rotor contains rotating shaft designed for mounting in one or more supports of windmill, and one or several brackets secured on rotating shaft and equipped with brake panel. Wind profile rotating blade is rigidly secured on each bracket parallel to rotation shaft. Brake panel is connected with angular speed pickup through kinematic coupling unit, and is connected through elastic coupling element with rotor member stationary relative to rotating shaft.
EFFECT: improved aerodynamic characteristics, increased efficiency, provision of limiting of rotor speed and accuracy of maintaining its nominal value.
