FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: output characteristics of heterogeneous electrochemical supercapacitor (HES) are optimised by means of thorough monitoring of specific parametres of HES design and production. For instance, ratio between charging capacitances of positive electrode (10) and negative electrode (15) of HES is thoroughly selected and controlled; in design of both positive and negative electrodes preferably active material is used with higher efficiency compared to active material used in ordinary electrochemical capacitors; separator (30) is used with improved working parametres; and collector of negative electrode current is preferably manufactured from material with matching layer, which provides for high conductivity, high overvoltage of gaseous hydrogen release and high stability within the range of working voltages of negative electrode in medium of HES electrolyte. To manufacture HES electrodes, lead and activated carbon are mainly used.
EFFECT: high discharge capacity, high specific density, reduced production expenses and time of assembly.
