FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of protection of humans, agricultural and domestic animals against bites of blood-sucking insects and may be used at home, in public areas and also in the field conditions and in agricultural production. Method for protection of humans and animals against bites of blood-sucking insects with application of heat release devices consists in installation of infrared radiation sources in zone protected against insects, and their capacity exceeds capacity of infrared radiation of vulnerable body parts of humans and animals, and sources are put in service with frequency of 0.3÷1 Hz for the time of 20÷50% from duration of repetition period. Diagrams of radiation and areas of radiation sources arrangement are organised so that this radiation arrives to heat sensors of insects in most possible points of their observance over people and animals.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at more efficient protection of humans and animals against blood-sucking insects.
