FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry and can be used while producing high-quality biologically active supplements (BAS) for food. BAS with hypoglycemic properties is represented by powder of stevia leaves. The powder is obtained by drying stevia leaves up to humidity of 10-11% then it is minced in fine helix-rotating film of 0.1-0.5 mm at pulsing pressure gradient of 2-7 MPa and temperature of 25-30°C.
EFFECT: invention allows to obtain supplement with high activity of hypoglycemic properties.
