FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions related to sensor systems designed so that to enable regulation of the sensor physical characteristic. Proposed is a sensor system that contains a sensor configured so that to provide for an output signal characterising the parametre being defined. The sensor contains multiple sensing elements configured so that to enable operation separately or in combination with one another for measurement of the sensor area. One configuration includes all the sensing element for provision for a maximum area of the sensor and a control system connected to the sensor. The control system is designed so that to enable modification of the sensor area for the sensor sensitivity regulation in accordance with the output signal defining the parametre with the sensor containing a capacitive probe.
EFFECT: improved precision of the sensor measurement in the sensor system.
