FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to plug that generates plasma used in particular for ignition of working mixture in internal combustion engines with the help of electric sparks produced between electrodes of plug. Spark plug (1) for internal combustion engine of a vehicle comprises capacitance (C) and inductance (I) parts. Capacitance part (C) comprises coaxial electrodes (2, 3). Inductance part (I) comprises the following components: central core (8), winding (5), insulator (7), external cylindrical shell (61) and internal shell (62). Winding (5) is arranged around core (8). Insulator (7) is arranged radially between internal shell (62) and winding (5). External (61) and internal (62) shells perform function of electromagnetic screen. Internal shell (62) is arranged radially between insulator (7) external shell (61). Internal surface (622) of internal shell (62) may have permanent thickness and may adjoin external surface of insulator (7). External shell (61) may have thickness, on which skin effect appears. Internal surface (612) of external shell (61) may have cylindrical shape with circular cross section. External surface (621) of internal shell (62) may have cylindrical shape with section in the form of polyhedron. Longitudinal ribs (613) of internal shell (62) may be in electric contact with external shell (61). Core (8) may have cylindrical shape. Material and dimensions of external (61) and internal (62) shells may be selected so that they form a screen for electromagnet field, which is generated by winding (5).

EFFECT: matching of electromagnetic screen with Insulation arranged between core (8) and shell (62).
