FIELD: internal combustion engine ignition systems with static distribution of electric charge among spark plugs for measuring ion current flowing through spark plug electrodes. SUBSTANCE: connector includes conducting core enclosed in dielectric envelope and provided with input and output contacts and capacitance sensor made in form of flow-through reservoir formed by at least part of conducting core, dielectric envelope and outer conducting cover located on surface of dielectric envelope. Diode may be connected in series between input contact and end of core. Connector may be structurally coupled with ignition device or may be provided with device for detachable joint.
