FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to traumatology and orthopaedics and can be used in surgery on false joints of shin bone. It involves a transverse segmental resection of the fibular bone outside its adhesion. Through a canal created above a tuberosity of tibia, an awl is introduced to a closed end of a proximal fragment. An arch lamina of the false joint of the central and peripheral fragments is pierced, and a lumen of intramedullary canals of the fragments is increased for nail osteosynthesis of the required diametre.
EFFECT: method provides elimination of haemorrhage within a system of tibiofibular vessels and prevents premature adhesion of the fibular bone.
