SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to oncology and can be used for oncotherapy. The inventions cover methods, a composition and a kit for blocking or reducing tumour or malignant cell growth. According to the inventions, treatment includes administration of angiopoietin-like protein 4 (ANGPTL4) antagonist both alone, and with antiangiogenic agents, particularly with vascular endotheliocyte growth factor (VEGF) antagonist.
EFFECT: use of the inventions allows improving effectiveness in tumour growth inhibition due to reduced ANGPTL4 activity ensured by the antagonist.
