FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for purifying waste water and can be used for extracting oil products from waste water. The device has a sealed tank fitted with evacuation apparatus, a floatation material inlet channel and collection container, a heater placed over the bottom of the tank and apparatus for inlet of the liquid being purified. The inside of the tank is divided into accumulation and floatation zones which are linked in the top part. The floatation zone is divided into vertical slit-type channels through walls, each formed by flat-oval heating elements lying one on top of the other and linked with a source of heating medium. Between the channels, there are fluoroplastic inserts whose with is equal to the width of the flat-oval heating elements. Along the central part of the top and bottom cavities of the inserts there is a longitudinal groove and the rest of the surface of the cavity is tightly pressed to surfaces of the flat-oval heating elements facing the cavity. The cavity of the longitudinal groove is linked to the vertical slit-type channel by grooves and the cavity of the longitudinal grooves are linked to each other through an end-to-end vertical channel.
