SUBSTANCE: cast work-piece-slab of thickness, for example 120 mm is subject to preliminary heat treatment and hot-rolling to control necessary condition of re-crystallisation. Then strip out of steel alloyed with silicon is successively treated producing a sheet of oriented grain structure, for example sheets of electro-technical steel. At the process of preliminary heat treatment for control of temperature T_we of rolling finish in the line of hot-rolling a cast work-piece is subject to at least one stage of pre-heating and to the stage of intensive heating. The cast work-piece is heated to temperature (T_ein) of entry into the line of hot-rolling of at least 1200°C. Scale is removed before the stage of pre-heating. Also temperature in the line of hot-rolling is controlled by means of combining speed of rolling and actuating intermediary devices for cooling between rolling stands.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of thermal treatment.
