FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and is intended for survivability testing of frame-rod structural systems, in particular for experimental determination of parameters of dynamic additional loads in complex-stressed posts of frame-rod structural system of a building at loss of stability by columns. Method provides for support of right post of reinforced concrete frame on movable cylindrical hinge, which can move along curved guide. Left post is unfastened in the middle of its height with the help of diagonal elements connected to each other through gussets by a calibrated concrete cylindrical key fixed in bushings rigidly connected to the gusset plates. Prototype of the reinforced concrete frame is loaded with a given vertical static load equal to 0.8 of the critical load. Then, when the right post moves along the curvilinear guide with the help of the tackle and the turn of this post, the brittle fracture of concrete key calibrated for a given bending and twisting force occurs and, accordingly, instantaneous change of free length of the left post, which causes dynamic loading and loss of stability of the left post. Thereafter, ultimate deformations and ultimate loads leading to loss of stability are measured.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining additional loads during tests.
