FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method involves preparation of standard samples, recording infrared transmission spectra of the standard samples, identification of extrema of spectral patterns of standard samples in accordance with average size of filler particles, their concentration and distribution, plotting calibration curves. Further, infrared spectra of the analysed samples are recorded and extrema of the spectral patterns of the analysed samples are correlated with the calibration curve.
EFFECT: determination of average size of aggregates of filler particles, their concentration and distribution in a polymer matrix.
