FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: working material of target designed for radiation with flow of accelerated charged particles of high intensity is fabricated out of inter-metallic compositions containing metal atimony: Ti-Sb, Al-Sb, Cu-Sb or Ni-Sb. During radiation of antimony with accelerated protons, in particular medicine radio-nuclide tin-177 m is produced. Inter-metallic material of the target is either welded to a cooled metal padding by the method of diffusive welding, or enclosed into a shell out of nickel, titanium, niobium or stainless steel cooled with water from outside. Outside the titanium shell is coated with metal nickel.

EFFECT: eliminating interaction with water during radiation.
