FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to oncourology. DNA is isolated from peripheral venous blood erythrocytes, PCR-analysis is carried out with further restriction of amplified fragments from polymorphic locus Ile105Val of gene GSTPI. If in patients with superficial forms of UBC homozygotic genotype Val/Val is detected, high risk of development of recurrent invasive urinary bladder cancer (UBC) is predicted. If homozygotic genotype Ile/Ile is detected, minimal risk of development of recurrent UBC is predicted. Application of invention predicts risk of invasive UBC development in patients with superficial forms of UBC.
EFFECT: method ensures high accuracy of prediction.
