FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry and can be used to obtain pure products - carbon and hydrogen. The device for plasma-chemical conversion contains a flow reactor 1 with a separate hydrocarbon gas inlet and a carbon and hydrogen outlet, filled with an initiator substance 2, fitted with a super-high frequency electromagnetic field concentrator and placed in a super-high frequency rectangular waveguide 3 perpendicular its wide walls, which is connected to a source of super-high frequency electromagnetic field energy 10. The super-high frequency waveguide is S-shaped and has a movable short-circuiting piston 4 at its output. The super-high frequency electromagnetic field concentrator is in form of a wave-guide-to-coaxial adapter 5 with a hollow inner conductor 6, in which a high-voltage electrode 7, which is connected to a high-voltage source, is placed coaxially and forms an electric gas discharger with the inner conductor. A high-voltage electrode 6 is made in for of a pipe which is plugged at the output end and fitted with a system of diametrically opposite holes 17. In the hollow inner conductor 7 there is a system of radial holes 16. The systems of holes 16 and 17 are insulated from each other by a gas-impermeable dielectric partition 8 lying in the cross section of the inner conductor 6.
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of the reactor and prolongs service life of the reactor.
