FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil production and can be used in processing natural or associated gas and conversion thereof into hydrogen and carbon. Plasma-chemical reactor comprises a microwave waveguide of rectangular section 1, circulator 2, electromagnetic radiation source 3, movable short-circuiting piston 4, waveguide-coaxial junction (WCJ) 5, hollow outer conductor 6, hollow inner conductor 7, which form discharge chamber 8, spark gap electrode 9, insulator 10, radiotransparent dielectric partitions 11, carbon collector 12, electromagnetic vibrator 13, movable metal rod 14 and tube 15. The reactor is also equipped with gas lines for input of nitrogen N2 and methane CH4 and for output of methane-hydrogen mixture. Electromagnetic vibrator 13 is placed on the upper end of hollow inner conductor 7, tube 15 is arranged coaxially with said conductor to make a water cooling channel therewith.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of the reactor, to increase duration of its continuous operation, productivity as well as output of conversion products.
