FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: storage battery charging device 10 comprises case 15 accommodating battery charging electronic circuitry 11, coupling device 12 to be connected to power supply circuit power take-off point and charging current output coupling device. Wall 72 of said case has hole 71 to accommodate safety valve 90 to open and release gas from the case inner space when case inside pressure exceeds outer pressure tolerance. Note here that said safety valve represents feed-through insulator 90 for cable 80 connected to storage battery charging electronic circuitry.

EFFECT: compact design, reliable operation in increasing inside unit pressure.
