FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and is intended for ablation of luxated lens. Standard subtotal vitractomy is performed. Aspiration opening of vitreotom is brought to lens equator and in aspiration mode its occlusion with lens is carried out. When vacuum level 500 mm Hg is achieved, short 1-2 second turnings on of vitretom cutting mode with cutting frequency 200 cuts/min are performed, with constant support of aspiration opening occlusion with lens.

EFFECT: method ensures monomanual and safe ablation of luxated lens from vitreous cavity, reduces intra- and post-operational complications, reduces operation time.
