FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: there is claimed composition for oral cavity care, which includes carrier and source of zinc ions in form of nanoparticles, which generally are non-aggregated, and method of applying such compositions. Composition can be made in form of liquid for mouth rinsing, dental floss, toothpaste, spray, chewing gum, chewing sweet or pastille. Also claimed is film for application for oral cavity care, which includes source of zinc oxide in form of nanoparticles, which generally are non-aggregated, and means for oral cavity care, which includes such film. Nanoparticles have particle size from 1 nm to 850 nm.
EFFECT: application of generally non-aggregated nanoparticles of zinc compounds allows reducing quantity of zinc ions, present in composition, simultaneously ensuring efficiency of composition for oral cavity care aimed at prevention of dental deposit formation and bad smell from mouth for user.
