SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a waterproof film, a composition for oral cavity care with its application and methods of such composition application. The claimed waterproof film includes hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, present in a quantity from 10 to 30% in the terms of the film dry weight, polyvinylacetate in a quantity from 8 to 25% in the terms of the film dry weight and zinc oxide particles in a concentration higher than from 30 to 60% in the terms of the film dry weight. Also claimed is a water composition for the oral cavity, which includes the claimed film in a concentration from 0.1 to 2% by weight of the composition and a suitable for the oral cavity water carrier, a method of reducing the quantity of volatile compounds of sulphur in the oral cavity by at least 25% and a method of treatment or prevention of gingivitis, periodontitis or smell from the mouth with the application of the claimed composition.
EFFECT: application of the water composition, which contains the claimed water-proof film, provides the delivery of a high quantity of zinc oxide particles to the oral cavity in the process of application.
