FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, namely to devices for detection of friction coefficient between wheel and rail. Device for measurement of friction coefficient between wheel and rail includes frame with measurement roller, support rollers hingedly fixed on frame, elastic plate with strain sensors, loading beam with strain sensors. Measurement roller is arranged with the possibility of rotation and interaction with rail surface. Elastic plate and loading beam are fixed on frame and are kinematically connected to measurement roller. Frame is also equipped by helical joint for control of load at measurement roller and two supports. Supports are arranged with the possibility to control their angular position, and one of support ends is connected to according side stand of frame. Frame may be arranged from hollow aluminium profile and is equipped with two handles. Strain sensors may be installed on elastic plate and on beam by means of glue. Frame may comprise six support rollers for support against rail. Cable is arranged as metal and is pulled through hole arranged in measurement roller and holes arranged in elastic plate.

EFFECT: technical solution makes it possible to improve accuracy of measurement and to expand technological resources of device due to measurement of friction along side surfaces of rails rolling.
