FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; production of ferrous metal.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of ferrous metallurgy, in particular, to production of ferrous metal out of the ferriferous material. Injection of a preheated air conduct downwards into a container at an angle of 20-90° in respect to a horizontal axis at a temperature of 800-1400° C and at the rate of 200-600 m\s through at least of one tuyere. It forces the melted material in a buckle bath in the zone of the lower end of the tuyere to be spaced from the tuyere and to form a "free" space around of the lower end of the tuyere. In the "free" space the concentration of the melted material is below the concentration of the melted material in the buckle bath. The tuyere is placed so, that the tuyere enters the container by a distance, that is at least equal to the outside diameter of the lower end of the tuyere. The lower end of the tuyere has been positioned above the quiet surface of the buckle bath of the melted material at a distance, which at least three times greater than the outside diameter of the lower end of the tuyere. The invention ensures afterburning of reactionary gasses with the subsequent transfer of the heat back to the buckle bath of molten metal without overoxidation of a significant amount of the molten metal and appreciable inputs.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the reactionary gasses afterburning with the subsequent heat transfer back to the buckle bath of molten metal without overoxidation of the molten metal significant amount and appreciable costs.
