FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: methods are described, including provision of list of maintained codecs of Call Control Server. Unit receives information in respect to the fact whether terminal supports broadband codec, at the same time information is received in alarm of call establishment from subscriber terminal. Additionally, information of configuration is extracted in respect to the fact whether Unit of Radio Access supports broadband codec. Additionally, information is extracted regarding the fact whether media gateway supports broadband codec, besides specified information is either provided by operator or it is extracted from media gateway. Information is analysed, and depending on analysis list of maintained codecs is provided. Additionally, alternative versions of device intended for methods realisation are disclosed.
EFFECT: invention provides for the possibility to maintain higher speech quality.
