SUBSTANCE: method for speed control for VoIP services using messages to provide the possibility for RRC to find out about activity at the level of SIP/ARM and to recommend change of AMR speed according to conditions in wireless communication network. Method for initiation of RRC codec speed management with application of RRM conditions in network. Method for coordination of autonomous control of AMR speed and speed control from RRC, with application of protective mechanism between messages.
EFFECT: messages make it possible for VoIP services to dynamically control both speed and quality of transfer on the basis of conditions in the network.
