FLYBOAT Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC B63B1/18 B63B1/20

Abstract RU 2396180 C1

FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building. Proposed flyboat comprises flat-keel hull with transom and transom plate or with cutaway stern with planning step and is equipped with automatically controlled stern interceptors. Every interceptor is hinged to hull bottom to extend downward along arc from the rear edge of transom plate or planning step bottom driven by servo drive actuator in response to interceptor control system. Actuator and all stationary support elements of articulation transmitting force from actuator rod to interceptor, i.e. actuator support, sealed case with rocker shaft, case of retainer with fork, shock absorbers of thrusts, scale post or arrow of interceptor extension indicator, are fitted on one base, while movable elements, i.e. rocker levers with pivots, levers with thrusts, retainer eye ring and with scale post or arrow of interceptor extension indicator, are rigidly fitted on rocker shaft. Support stationary and movable elements of articulation and actuator are adjusted relative to each other and represent integral articulated unit mounted on vertical base inside flyboat hull oriented along base lengthwise axis. Aforesaid base is secured onto transom in the plane perpendicular to flyboat midplane and has lengthwise axis inclined to vertical at the angle equal to that of deadrise of transom plate rear edge or planning step bottom of stern cutaway. Note also that sealed case inner chamber communicates with ambient space via recess welded in between the base and transom, or stern cutaway. Solely lever pivoted to interceptor tie rod is arranged inside sealed case on rocker shaft.

EFFECT: higher reliability, ease of servicing in operation.
