FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: high-speed vessel is equipped with fore and aft spoilers controlled automatically. Spoilers are divided into port and starboard sections and are mounted in CG area and on ship's transom over entire width. Each section is made in form of at least two subsections. Span of outer subsections may be equal to at least 0.5 of the span of inner subsections; subsections of fore spoilers may be mounted at distance of 0.4 to 0.75 of the ship's length from transom at shift relative to each other. Besides that, inner subsections of fore and/or aft spoiler may be combined in one subsection. EFFECT: improved running and sea-going properties of vessel. 2 cl, 7 dwg
