FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device serves to process fuel in ICE by simultaneous effects of electric and magnetic fields. Said device comprises casing with inlet and outlet unions, HV power supply whereto connected are coaxially arranged elongates electrodes are connected to create processing space and magnets that have their like poles facing each other to embrace said space. Said magnets are separated by magnetically soft magnetic cores and arranged in nonmagnetic case to make a closed part of magnetic system arranged at the case center and electrically connected with said case that makes a negative electrode. Positive electrode represents thin-wall aforesaid case made from ferromagnetic material with length equal to that of magnetic system and arranged between magnetic system inner part and the case. Electrodes are coated with thin layer of dielectric material, for example Teflon, on the side of processing space, and connected to HV power supply.
EFFECT: more complete fuel combustion, ease of production and minimised production costs.
