FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: separate control is performed over fuel injection characteristics: fuel feed phase are controlled via fuel by-passing performed by main bypass valve with valve frequency-pulse electric controlled travel, while differential characteristics, i.e. pressure amplitude and injection forward and rear front laws, are controlled by fuel by-passing effected by means of additional bypass valve with amplitude electric control over valve travel. Proposed system comprises HP fuel pump and nozzle between which arranged are the main large flow section bypass valve with normally-open gate and electromagnetic drive and extra low-flow-rate bypass valve with normally-open gate furnished with piezoelectric drive. Besides said system comprises ACS to generate control frequency-pulsed electric signal for main large flow section bypass valve, complying with engine operating conditions gate drive, that incorporates module to generate control amplitude electric signal for extra low-flow-rate bypass valve with normally-open gate furnished with piezoelectric drive. Note here that said ACS comprises engine mode feedbacks controlled by standard transducers and main large flow section bypass valve gate travel feedback controlled by gate travel transducer. Note also that said module is functionally coupled with ACS and extra low-flow-rate bypass valve piezoelectric drive and incorporates extra bypass valve gate travel and fuel-pressure-ahead-of-nozzle feedbacks. For this, proposed system incorporates additionally travel transducers of both main and extra bypass valves and transducer of fuel pressure ahead of nozzle.

EFFECT: higher quality of fuel mixing in combustion chamber in wide range of engine operating conditions.
