FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pneumatic separating equipment for removal of weed air-carried particles by air flow from oilseeds and may be used to separate sunflower seeds shells by air flow for the purpose of husks removal at factories producing vegetable oils, halva and sunflower brittle. Pneumatic separator for separation of air-carried particles consists of vertical aspiration channel, in lower part of which there are collection chambers arranged, and receiving device with sieve, output rotary valve made of vertical plates, upper edges of which are connected to according hinged joints, nozzles for supply of initial material, discharge of finished product and air flow with air-carried particles. Vertical aspiration channel is mounted with aspiration settling chamber, between which there is a separating partition and baffle plate, fixed accordingly on lower and upper hinged joints. Partition and baffle plate are equipped with mechanical devices for adjustment of their position relative to each other.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of kernel separation from husks and reduced carryover of kernel pieces with husk fraction, and also increased functionality of air flow speed adjustment, both in vertical aspiration channel and in aspiration settling chamber.
