FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to traction electric power supply systems used at railways. Proposed method consists in that crosswise capacitive compensator ("КУ") is mounted at the first node bus, compensation current 1K is measured, current vector variation between first and second nodes ΔIy relative to the first node, traction circuit complex impedance Zmc is calculated and nodal mutual resistance between first and second nodes is determined from the following expression: Z21-(ΔU1+Zmc ΔIy)/Ik.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of determining nodal mutual resistance between nodes.
