SUBSTANCE: according to the method, an information-controlling unit (ICU) is introduced and connected by telemechanics system to secondary windings of measuring voltage transformers, and if the measured voltages are outside the range of permissible values, then on the CSN and filter-compensating plants (FCP) of traction substations and sectionalizing station a command for inputting the voltage mode into the permissible region by increasing or decreasing the voltage is send, and then based on the measured voltages the power control of the FCP of the sectionalizing station is calculated, equal to l to Qfcp=27.5⋅(Uts-Uss-IfcpXKk)⋅sinϕ/Zncr(c), where Uts, Uss - measured voltages of the traction substation and the sectionalizing station; Ifcp - FCP of the sectionalizing station; Xnir - nodal inductive resistance of the sectionalizing station; sinϕ - averaged ratio value of reactive power to the total power of the traction load of the double-track section; Zncr(c) - node compound resistance of the sectionalizing station, and install thereof on FCP sectionalizing station, and then measure the voltage at the sectionalizing station and establish the same voltage in the like phases of both traction substations feeding the area under consideration, with the help of FCP and CSN transformers.

EFFECT: reduction of power loss by effective power control of thyristor filter-compensating plants with resonance filters at the sectionalizing station and the traction substations of the inter-station zone.
