FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for measuring medium in a pipeline, primarily with a large internal diametre. The measuring pipe (2) of a magnetic-inductive flow metre with a magnetic system which creates a magnetic field which passes across the axis of the measuring pipe, and with at least one measuring electrode connected to the medium is fit into a pipeline (17) using two flanges (20). Between the flange (19) of the measuring pipe and the flange (20) of the pipeline there is an earthing disc (23) in form of an electrically conducting substrate made from metal (stainless steel). In areas which are in contact with the medium (11) and the flanges (19) and (20), the substrate has an electrically conducting and chemical-resistant coating made from synthetic material (modified teflon with particles of electrically conducting material).
EFFECT: more accurate measurement of flow in an aggressive corrosive medium.
