FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgical instruments. Laparoscopic instrument has a handle. The handle is equipped with a drive to manipulate an executive body through a lever mechanism. The executive body is installed on the first end of the tubular element connected to the tool handle. The ratchet mechanism with a switch and ratchet rod is provided. The ratchet rod interacts with the pallet of an essentially complementary form. The switch serves to bring the teeth of the pallet to engage or disengage with the teeth of the ratchet rack and connected to the pallet through flexible element.
EFFECT: in the simple tool with manual control the executive body can be selectively fixed in the desired position and released from the fixed position without need to change the fingergrip ideal for working with the tool.
