FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used for application of staples and cutting tissues when performing endoscopic procedures. Surgical instrument contains end working unit, which is configured for responding to ejection movement; shaft, which is fixed to end working unit and handle. Handle creates separate movements of closing and ejection to set into operation end working unit, in particular, multiple passes of ejection for reduction of effort, required for staple application and cutting with end working unit.
EFFECT: instrument ensures achievement of required length of cutting and sewing with desired ratio of length of ejection pass and longitudinal movement of staple application.
