FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly to method of providing high-efficiency protection of space-rocket equipment (SRE), weapons etc. against various adverse factors by means of special protective coat. Proposed multi-function protective coat represents a mat with layers made from different materials. Proposed protective coat consists of the layer of refractory fabric, water repellant fabric layer, layer of felted cloth, several layer of Kevlar fabric, optical fiber matrix, layer of felted cloth and layer of wear resistant cloth.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of protection, continuous diagnostics of coat, hence, body, integrity, simple design and ease of fitting on body surface.
